Unwind beneath a blanket of stars: Camp in the Berkshires.

NOTE: Under new management and open for the 2024 season!

Privacy Campground is built against Brodie Mountain in the beautiful, rolling landscape of Massachusetts’s northern Berkshires. Located south of Williamstown, the campground has easy access to hiking, boating, and numerous arts activities (museums, theater, music, dance, and historical attractions).

Fully designed, and built (in 1973), by Andre Rambaud the campground’s current caretaker. Privacy Campground is all about family and is owned and operated by the Morin and Lillie families. It has nurtured a full generation of campers, who continue to return with their own families and friends. From the children’s playground to the walking trails, pond, and sauna, Privacy Campground creates experiences that draw families together in fun and a shared sense of caretaking.

Whether enjoying some time away with friends or taking an extended vacation with your children, you will find the perfect tent or cabin site.

Privacy Campground has operated off-grid since 1994. 100% of all the power comes from a hydroelectric power plant; there is also a wind generator, solar panels, and a gravity water system.
